Strictly 4 Kids
We are very lucky at The Wilmslow Academy to have a fantastic before and after school club called Strictly4Kids. The club is run by the school with many S4K staff also working as Teaching Assistants from The Wilmslow Academy which means that the children and staff get to know one another well.
The club runs daily from 7:30am to 6pm and offers a wide range of activities for children to take part in.
Breakfast club starts at 7:30am and children are brought into the school premises via the main entrance. Children are offered breakfast with a drink and an opportunity to spend time with friends before their busy school day. When the school day starts, younger children are escorted directly to their classroom by a member of S4K staff.
At the end of the school day, all children attending club are collected from their classroom and taken to the main hall for registration.Children are provided with a healthy, filling snack with drink and a time to wind down and have fun. We have many toys, crafts and activities to offer the children both inside and out.
All staff have achieved Level 1 Safeguarding and have enhanced DBS certificates. Several staff have First Aid training and food hygiene certificates.
